May Newsletter

It is hard to believe that it is already May. This is the time of year that all school age students are really looking forward to ~ Summer Vacation!!! I hope everyone survives their last month of school and that we all have a wonderful and safe summer vacation.

Don't forget our Annual Award Day is coming soon. On Friday, May 16th, at 6:30 p.m., we will be honoring our Mighty Munchkin, Bronze, Silver, Boys Begin and Hot Shots. Gymnasts need to be dressed to participate. Our Gymnasts will perform some of their talents and then awards will be given and refreshments will be served. This program will last approximately one hour. Don't forget to sign up at the front office. (Signing up will ensure your gymnasts award and the proper amount of cookies.)

We hope that you are planning to continue your gymnastics training through the summer, however, if you are planning to discontinue your child's classes then it is time to give notice. Per our rules and policies, we require a 30 day written notice to withdraw from classes. This notice gives us the opportunity to offer your child's placement to another child. By following this rule, you will not be responsible for future tuition after your 30 day notice. Red withdraw forms are available at the front desk.

There is still availability in our Summer Camp program. There are four exciting weeks of camp available for the summer. Camps are designed for the beginner through Level 3, and will focus on strength, flexibility, skills and proper technique for those respected levels. Full day camps and half day camps are available and can be arranged. Early registration and deposits are suggested to ensure your preferred week of camp, and to guarantee your child's placement. Summer Camp brochures are at the front office if you are interested.

If you are taking the summer off, please mark your calendar for our Annual National Gymnastics Day that will be held onAugust 16th from 10:00 - 12:00. Invitations will be sent out so make sure we have your correct address before you leave from your final spring class. We hope you will visit us in August and join in the fun!

During the summer, we will not be holding Open Gyms again until the fall. Any missed summer class can be made-up in other classes. Please call the office to schedule a make-up, if you have missed a class.

Make sure to visit our web site for current and upcoming events as well as general information. www.cedarpointgymnastics.com.

Don't forget, we will be closed May 26th, for Memorial Day!

Thanks for your support!
